JOB – Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION – Westerham TERM – Permanent SALARY – £35,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits) My client is a specialist manufacturer working across multiple engineering sectors. They are looking to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience using Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD to join their design team based in Westerham. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: • Previous experience in a Mechanical Design Engineering role within manufacturing/engineering • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD • Experience producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and BOMs • Understanding of sheet metal design, fabrications, or assemblies • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Able to work individually as well as part of a team • Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, or similar) The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: • Producing detailed 3D models and drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD • Working with Vault for data management and project collaboration • Supporting the design and development of mechanical assemblies and products • Preparing BOMs and technical documentation to support production • Liaising with production, purchasing, and other engineering teams • Ensuring designs meet company and industry standards If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectation
