Premier Engineering are looking for a skilled milling machinist/fitter to join our team of precision engineers to work in our well equipped and established workshops. Applicants should be experienced in manufacturing and repairing industrial components to drawings and patterns to high levels.
Ideally the candidate shall be proficient in operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls. General fitting requirements on hydraulic cylinders, gearboxes, gears and various assemblies to close tolerances. We manufacture both new and bespoke items for a wide range of industries ranging from mining, marine, food, steel etc. Applicants must be time served.
In return for your skills and expertise, we offer excellent rates of pay (negotiable based on experience and skill level), 25 days annual holidays plus bank holidays, company pension and overtime available. 39hrs working week - 7.30 till 4.30 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 to 12.30 Friday.
