My client operates within the manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Service Engineer to join their team in the Manchester area on a permanent basis.
The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Experienced working in manufacturing industry ideally
- A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset
- Experienced with machinery maintenance
- Experience with Generators
- A solid understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- A Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
