A UK based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Degree, HND or an equivalent Electrical engineering or Automation qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with CAD for electrical design
- Any PLC knowledge would be desirable too - ideally Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) but others will be considered such as Allen Bradley
- Panel design experience ideally working with EPlan 8 or AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
- Designing & developing control systems for manufacturing equipment
- Developing electrical designs using Eplan software
- Ensure work complies with industry standards such as ATEX
- Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are being met
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are being adhered to
