We are seeking a Junior Product Design Engineer to join a dynamic and creative design team based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role to further develop their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop detailed product designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Assist in concept development, prototyping, and design validation.
- Prepare technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Support ongoing projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design presentations and visual documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Product Design, Mechanical Design, or Industrial Design.
- 1–2 years of experience in a product design or project coordination role.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
