My client operates within the manufacturing sector, delivering high-quality fabrication solutions. They are looking for a Press Brake Operator / Production Worker to join their Fabrication team in Basingstoke on a permanent basis.
The Press Brake Operator / Production Worker will ideally have the following attributes:
- Have a strong background in metal press forming and basic fabrication
- Have at least 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Have basic knowledge of hydraulic press brake and/or punch operations, including setup
- Be competent in basic dimensional measuring and willing to learn precision measurement tools
- Have good understanding of shop mathematics
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Have experience operating forklifts (required) and overhead cranes (preferred)
- Be flexible, responsive, and a strong team player
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Be motivated to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
- Have a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
