My client is a specialist manufacturer within the construction industry. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Lead to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.
Key Attributes
- Minimum of Time Served Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering / Manufacturing
- 3+ Years' experience working in a medium - large automated manufacturing operation
- Previously worked with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Rotating Equipment etc.
- Confident with fault finding, issue rectification and routine maintenance activities
- Background in Mechanical fitting/maintenance positions
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage others
- A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
Role Responsibilities
- Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and plant maintenance
- PPM and breakdown avoidance
- Ensuring documentation is maintained, site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
- Supervising onsite contractors
- Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
- Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
- Working with others and being an excellent team player
