My client is a specialist service provider of HVAC machinery and is looking for an Engineer to join their team near Birmingham on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
- 3 years or more of experience in a similar Service/Maintenance Engineering position
- Background in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, with knowledge of refrigeration systems and principles
- F‑Gas qualified
- Knowledge of electrical engineering
- Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
- Ability to understand system requirements
- Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Carrying out installation of refrigeration & air conditioning systems
- Providing servicing & maintenance for refrigeration & air conditioning systems
- Identifying and rectifying faults on refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
- Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
