My client designs, builds and operates wind farm and Solar PV projects throughout the United Kingdom. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in the Cornwall area on a full-time contract basis.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking software
- Basic knowledge of onshore wind development and construction processes
- Methodical, accurate and detail focused approach to work
- Awareness and understanding of CDM regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload
- Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Flexible to travel to sites throughout the UK
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with project cost estimation and tracking would be advantageous
- Civil3D and Infraworks proficiency would be beneficial
- Knowledge of transport and construction methods relating to onshore wind projects would be advantageous
- Familiarity with wind farm BoP (Balance of Plant) and TSA (Turbine Supply Agreement) contracts would be beneficial
- Surveying and setting out experience would be advantageous
