My client work within engineering and automation and they are looking to take on an Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
Have previous experience carrying out electrical design (although a Graduate may also be considered)
Have experience in a Controls and Automation environment
Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical
Excellent problem solving capabilities
Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenThe Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:
Working within the existing multi-disciplinary xiskglj engineering team
Producing detailed design specifications for control systems
Producing test specifications as required
