My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on a Junior Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team long term.
Attributes:
- BEng / BSc / HND / NVQ qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Any previous experience of working in a hands-on electrical manufacturing environment would be ideal
- Candidates who have recently completed their studies would suit this position well
- Knowledge of PLC's such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider etc. would be desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Working in a hands-on environment carrying out PLC coding, panel building, machine wiring, and final testing of equipment
- Providing technical support to customers as required
- Some occasional site visits
- Offering support to Apprentices
- Working with the engineering team to help improve processes where possible
