Draughtsman

ROLE- Draughtsman LOCATION- London TERM- Permanent SALARY- £25,000 – £40,000, dependent on experience My client is a specialist product designer in the HVAC industry. They are looking for a Draughtsman to join their team in London on a permanent basis. The Draughtsman will ideally have the following attributes: HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Design, Engineering or similar Experience in HVAC would be beneficial 0-3 years’ or more of experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position Be proficient using 2D CAD software such as AutoCAD Able to understand technical drawings and produce detailed quotations Strong customer facing skills, with the ability to develop relationships Excellent attention to detail Proficient with using Microsoft Office Excellent communication and problem-solving ability The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team  The Draughtsman role will involve: Working to technical drawings and models to produce detailed quotations Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans Updating 2D models and drawings Checking drawings for sign off Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects  If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
