JOB- Documentation & Certification Engineer LOCATION- West Berkshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Documentation & Certification Engineer to join our client’s team in West Berkshire. This role focuses on ensuring all technical documentation and certifications comply with regulatory, customer, and project requirements, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. The Documentation & Certification Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Proven experience in documentation and certification roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment Knowledge of certification standards such as CE, UKCA, ATEX, or equivalent industry-specific requirements Familiarity with industry standards, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing technical documents Knowledge of certification processes for equipment in regulated industries Proficiency with 3D CAD for incorporating drawings into documentation Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Proficiency with documentation management software and tools The Documentation and Certification Engineer role will involve: Preparing and reviewing technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements Collaborating with engineers and project teams to gather technical information Managing and maintaining accurate records of certifications and technical documentation Producing and maintaining technical manuals, user guides, installation instructions, and other documentation Liaising with internal teams, clients, and certification bodies to resolve queries and ensure alignment Assisting in the preparation of quality documentation, including test reports, manuals, and compliance certificates Supporting audits and inspections to verify adherence to standards and regulations Identifying and implementing improvements to the documentation process Ensuring timely submission of documentation to meet project deadlines If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible
