Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
We are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Swindon. This role is ideal for someone with strong SolidWorks skills, and any experience with CNC machining or programming would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks.
- Create manufacturing and assembly drawings to support production.
- Update and maintain existing CAD data and documentation.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are suitable for manufacture.
- Assist with engineering changes and drawing revisions.
- Provide CAD support for CNC machining activities where required.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential).
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician or similar role.
- Any experience with CNC machining, programming, or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancing.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
