My client is a specialist service provider of precision cutting systems. They are looking for an Engineer to join their team near Birmingham on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of experience in a similar Service / Maintenance Engineering position
• Background in servicing / maintenance and principles
• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
• Ability to understand system requirements
• Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing & maintenance for cutting systems
• Identify and rectify faults on cutting systems
• Guide and assist customers as required on functional and technical information
• Maintain working relationships with colleagues and clients
