Job Description Year 6 Teacher - Autumn 2 Location: Levenshulme, Manchester Start Date: Autumn 2, 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Year Group: Year 6 Pay - £130 - £170 per day Premier Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Levenshulme who are looking for a strong and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join them from Autumn 2. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who is confident leading a Year 6 classroom and can hit the ground running. The school are looking for someone who is experienced, organised and confident in their teaching, with a good understanding of the expectations and demands of the final year of primary school. The Role - Full-time teaching across a Year 6 class - Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons - Supporting pupils to make strong progress - Preparing pupils for the expectations of Year 6 and SATs - Managing the classroom confidently and positively - Working closely with colleagues and the wider school team - Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning We're Looking For - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Strong KS2 / Year 6 teaching experience - A confident classroom practitioner - Good behaviour management skills - High expectations of pupils - Someone organised, reliable and able to hit the ground running - Two suitable references - Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one ECTs with strong KS2 experience are welcome to apply, although the school are particularly keen to hear from experienced Year 6 teachers.
