Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools across the Macclesfield and Congleton area who are seeking qualified teachers to support their schools on a supply and long-term basis.
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils' progress. Supply teaching offers the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school settings, while maintaining flexibility that suits your availability.
You may be required to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and the needs of the schools. Some roles may also involve supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, early career teachers (ECTs), or teachers returning to the profession who are looking to work in local schools.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
- Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
- Mark work where required and provide feedback to support pupil progress
- Support pupils' academic and personal development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements considered for ECTs)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A flexible and positive approach to working in different school settings
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
- £130-£160 per day (dependent on experience, role, and responsibilities)
