A friendly and supportive primary school in the Oldham area is seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time maternity cover contract until April 2027. The school is ideally located for commuters, with excellent transport links from North Manchester, Rochdale, Tameside, Saddleworth and surrounding Greater Manchester areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment or an experienced teacher seeking a rewarding role within a welcoming school community.

The role

The ideal candidate

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Enthusiastic, committed and adaptable approach to teaching
