Are you an experienced teacher looking to have a better life/work balance? Or an ECT yet to secure a long‑term or permanent position? Premier Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable qualified Secondary Teachers to join our pool of supply staff across Manchester and surrounding areas. These opportunities are perfect for teachers who enjoy flexibility but are still passionate about their chosen subject areas. Supply teaching is an excellent and practical way to achieve a better balance and get a taste of local schools in your area. Supply work is offered on a daily, short‑term and long‑term basis. We can then also consider you for permanent positions if that’s a goal for you. You will have the opportunity to work across Key Stages 3, 4 and/or 5 depending on your experience and preferences.
We are currently looking for candidates with the following specialisms:
- English
- Maths
- Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
- MFL (French and Spanish – ability to teach both is highly desirable)
- Food Technology
- History
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (evidence will be required)
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools (placement experience is sufficient for ECTs)
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- Reliability
- A clear Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Pay: £120 - £180 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications. AWR will apply)
