Position Summary: As the Wrap Around Care Venue Lead, your role is pivotal in providing effective leadership and management of the wrap around care program.
Location: St Wilfred's Primary School, Littlehampton
Hours: 15:00-18:00 Monday to Friday, term-time only
You are responsible for ensuring high-quality care, maintaining strong communication with various stakeholders, and adhering to company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Support and Supervision: Provide comprehensive support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers. Foster a positive team environment through effective guidance, mentorship, and leadership. Manage a small team of playworkers, providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship. Organise effective communication through daily Huddles and the weekly LION (Last time, Issues, Opportunities, Next time) meeting structures. Conduct half-termly staff One2One meetings and performance reviews, providing feedback and setting clear objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Develop and maintain open and effective communication with all club members, schools, and parents, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
- Policy Adherence and Early Years Foundation Stage: Operate within the framework of the club's policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to established guidelines. Apply the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to enhance the care and development of children.
- Team Leadership: Generate weekly performance reports for your line manager, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges. Empower your team to execute company strategy and tactics in alignment with Premier Education Professional Standards (PEPs), ensuring a unified approach.
- Standards and Compliance: Ensure team compliance with Premier Education Professional Standards (PEPs), maintaining consistent curricular course standards and uniformity.
Your role as the Wrap Around Care Setting Manager is crucial in providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children under your care. By effectively leading your team, maintaining strong communication, and adhering to policies and standards, you will contribute significantly to the success of the wrap around care program.
