Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 until Easter 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class for the majority of the academic year.
The school is looking for a teacher who can:
- Deliver engaging lessons
- Maintain high expectations
- Support pupils' academic and personal development during this important stage of their education
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring continuity and consistency in the classroom
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- A proactive, reliable, and positive approach to teaching
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
