Premier Education Ltd are currently working with a number of primary schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to join them from September. We have opportunities available across all primary year groups, from EYFS through to Year 6, so whether you have a preferred age group or enjoy the variety of teaching across different classes, we can help find work that suits you.
Supply teaching is ideal if you're looking for flexibility, want to experience different schools, or simply want to focus on teaching without the additional workload that can come with a permanent position. We're also keen to hear from ECTs looking to get their foot in the door, build confidence and gain experience across different school settings. For experienced teachers, supply can be a great way to enjoy a better work-life balance while continuing to do what you love.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Follow lesson plans and school expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Adapt learning where appropriate to meet pupils' needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
- Experience working within a primary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Pay
£120 - £170 per day
