Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a small primary school in the Longnor area who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to take on a mixed Key Stage 2 class from 1st June 2026 through to the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a small, supportive school environment, where class sizes are reduced and there is a strong focus on individual pupil progress and personalised learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to a mixed-age KS2 class, ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across a mixed-age class
- Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Track, assess, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with support staff and school leadership
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Confidence teaching mixed-age or small class settings (desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, proactive, and positive approach
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay £140 - £170 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
