This part-time, on-site role is based in Walsall and surrounding areas which focuses on delivering high-quality sports and physical education sessions. The Sports Specialist will engage children through dynamic coaching sessions, assist with program planning, and collaborate closely with schools and parents. Additional responsibilities may include facilitating activities for holiday programs and after-school clubs, creating a positive and supportive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Sports Coaching, with specific experience in Football and general Coaching methods
- Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and school staff
- Experience or interest in Sales and promoting programs to enhance participation and growth
- Relevant coaching certifications and safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting physical activity and child development
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is an advantage
- First Aid certification and DBS clearance are considered highly beneficial
