Role Description
This is a Part time or full-time on-site role for a Sports Specialist located near Tamworth or Burton on Trent. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality sports coaching sessions
- Supervising and engaging with children during school hours and activities
- Coordinating extra-curricular clubs and holiday programs
- Fostering a positive and supportive environment
- Ensuring child safety protocols are followed
- Building effective relationships with schools, parents, and participants to promote programs and increase enrollment
Qualifications
- Experience in Sports Coaching to deliver engaging and effective physical activities for children
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and schools
- Coaching skills to lead educational and fun activities that promote physical and social development
- Sales skills to effectively promote programs, encourage participation, and grow community engagement
- Ability to adhere to safeguarding practices and ensure child safety
- Relevant qualifications such as a coaching certification or background in physical education are highly desirable
- First Aid certification and enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for inspiring children to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle
