Role Description
This is a part-time role for an Activity Professional, based on-site in Derby. The Activity Professional will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of physical activity sessions, engaging children in enjoyable and educational activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Additional tasks include liaising with parents and school staff, maintaining equipment, and documenting session activities and attendance.
Qualifications
- Experience in coaching or instructing children in physical activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging activity sessions
- First Aid and safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Organizational skills for managing session plans and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, teaching, or childcare are advantageous
