Location: Oldham

Contract: Full-time and temporary (ASAP until May half term)

We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher with full-time and immediate availability.

About the role:

  • Teaching a Year 6 class.
  • Be fully supported by a HLTA in the lead up to SATs.
  • Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress.
  • Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required.

Candidate requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching in KS2 settings is essential.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  • A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Pay: £130.00 - £180.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
