Monday to Friday – 23 hours per week. Split shifts to cover Breakfast Club (from 7.30am) and After School (from 3.15pm)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated childcare professional to join our team as a Wraparound Care (WAC) Lead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and running the daily operations of the Wraparound Care provision.

A key aspect of the role is ensuring safeguarding policies are implemented and upheld to maintain a secure environment for all children in the setting. You will support and supervise playworkers, staff, and volunteers, ensuring effective communication with schools and parents.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Level 2 (or above) qualification in Childcare
• Full UK Driving License
• Experience working with children aged 4 to 11 in a play-based or educational setting
• Experience in managing or supervising staff in a childcare or educational setting
• Understanding of children\’s varied needs and family dynamics
• Knowledge of quality play care principles and equal opportunities
• Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the organisation, parents, schools, and childcare and play-related agencies
• Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (desirable)
