We are looking for a reliable and caring Venue Lead to run a breakfast and after‑school club at Martlesham Primary Academy. This role involves leading a small team and supporting children aged 4–11 in a safe and fun environment before and after the school day.
Working Hours
- 7:45 am – 8:45 am (Breakfast Club)
- 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm (After School Club)
Additional paid hours are for set‑up, pack‑down and admin responsibilities.
Duties include
- Leading a small team of staff
- Planning and running activities for children
- Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
- Completing registers and basic admin tasks
- Communicating with parents and school staff
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting
- Some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Good understanding of safeguarding
- Level 2 qualification in childcare, playwork or similar desirable
