Pay: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour

Hours: 24 hours per week (term‑time only)

We are looking for a reliable and caring Venue Lead to run a breakfast and after‑school club at Martlesham Primary Academy. This role involves leading a small team and supporting children aged 4–11 in a safe and fun environment before and after the school day.

Working Hours

  • 7:45 am – 8:45 am (Breakfast Club)
  • 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm (After School Club)

Additional paid hours are for set‑up, pack‑down and admin responsibilities.

Duties include

  • Leading a small team of staff
  • Planning and running activities for children
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
  • Completing registers and basic admin tasks
  • Communicating with parents and school staff

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting
  • Some leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
  • Level 2 qualification in childcare, playwork or similar desirable
