Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Cheshire who are looking for Teaching Assistants to support their pupils on a supply and long-term basis. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children in the classroom. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to work across a variety of schools, year groups, and settings depending on your experience and availability.
You may be asked to support small groups, individual pupils, or assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Some roles may also involve supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Level 2/3 TAs, graduates, or those looking to gain school-based experience.
Responsibilities- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Working with small groups or individual pupils to support learning and development
- Assisting with the delivery of interventions and targeted support sessions
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where required
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils stay engaged with their learning
- Qualification / Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to working in different schools
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or supporting teaching and learning are desirable but not essential
£88.92 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
