School Cleaner £14.00-£14.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | 3:00pm-6:00pm We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a gorgeous, welcoming school in the Westhoughton area. This is a part-time, temporary role starting within the next couple of weeks and expected to continue until February 2027, while the school completes its permanent recruitment process. The role: Monday to Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm - 15 hours per week £14.00-£14.50 per hour Westhoughton Starting as soon as possible or after half term Ongoing until approximately February 2027 Cleaning classrooms, toilets, communal areas and other areas around the school Helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school Following appropriate health and safety and cleaning procedures We're looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work Can work independently and manage their time effectively Has previous professional cleaning experience Previous cleaning experience within a school or other education setting would be highly advantageous Knowledge of COSHH and the safe use and storage of cleaning products would be an advantage Any relevant cleaning, hygiene, health & safety or COSHH training/qualifications would be beneficial Is comfortable working within a school environment and around children and staff This is a lovely opportunity to join a friendly, well-presented school with consistent weekday hours that could work particularly well around other commitments.
