Teacher of English - the role
You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach both English Language and English Literature
- Prepare pupils for their GCSE studies and examinations
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the English department
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Teacher of English - requirements
- UK Qualified Teacher Status
- The ability to teach English confidently across KS3 and KS4

- Effective classroom and behaviour-management skills
- A positive, reliable and professional approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
