Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Congleton, Stoke-on-Trent, and Staffordshire who are looking for qualified teachers to support on both a supply and long-term basis. We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils' progress across the primary age range. Supply teaching is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, variety, or opportunities to gain experience across a range of school settings, while still having the option of securing longer-term placements for the new academic year. Roles are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences. We are also very keen to hear from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence across different settings, and secure opportunities for September.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
- Mark and assess work where required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools (ECTs welcome)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£120 - £170 per day (dependent on experience, scale, and responsibilities)
