Playworker – After School Club (Term-Time Only)
Location: Colliers Green Primary TN17 2LR
Hours: 14 hours per week (afternoons, Monday–Friday)

Are you passionate about working with children? Just finished your childcare qualification and ready to gain hands-on experience? Join our friendly team as a Playworker and help deliver fun, safe, and engaging activities in our After School Club.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support creative play and learning activities for children aged 4–11
Create a welcoming, inclusive environment before and after school
Safely escort children and communicate clearly with parents/carers
Serve snacks and maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety
Work as part of a supportive team, following all safeguarding procedures
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Minimum age: 18 (due to insurance and Ofsted regulations)
Experience working with children aged 4–11 in schools, nurseries, or similar play-based settings
Confidence supporting play in a fun, structure
Great communication and teamwork skills
Desirable (but not essential):
A childcare qualification (or working towards one)
Safeguarding or First Aid training
Food Hygiene certificate
A full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will be expected to start in September 2025, in line with the start of the new school term.
