Premier Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher for a part-time teaching opportunity at a welcoming primary school in the Oldham area, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas.
The role is for 3 days per week and will involve teaching across the primary age range, so we are looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who is comfortable working with different year groups from EYFS through to KS2.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher looking for a regular part-time role for the Autumn Term.
The Role:
- Teaching 3 days per week
- Working across different year groups throughout the primary school
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Adapting confidently to different classes and age groups
- Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and routines
- Assessing and supporting pupil progress
- Working closely with class teachers, Teaching Assistants and the wider school team
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Flexible, reliable and able to quickly adapt to different year groups
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
