This role will focus specifically on supporting Year 6 pupils with writing interventions in preparation for end-of-key-stage expectations. There is no full-class teaching requirement unless additional afternoon cover is needed on occasion.
The role:
- Delivering targeted writing interventions for Year 6 pupils
- Supporting pupils in developing confidence, stamina and attainment in writing
- Working with small groups and targeted learners
- Collaborating with the Year 6 team and school leadership
- 5 mornings per week from 1st June
- Continuing into September 2026
- No planning for full-class teaching required as part of the core role
- Optional afternoon cover opportunities where needed
