About the role:

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join one of our Manchester primary schools from September. Our clients offer placements in a variety of classes with daily supply, short-term and long-term opportunities available.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with daily teaching and learning activities
  • Deliver targeted support to individuals and small groups
  • Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to planning and assessment under the guidance of the teacher
  • Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or above) - essential
  • Recent experience working in a primary school setting - EYFS or KS1 preference
  • Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Committed, flexible and proactive with excellent communication skills
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
