Are you an experienced supply teacher with availability from February? Do you have recent experience teaching KS1 and are seeking full-time work? Premier Education is delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Manchester in their search for a KS1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave.
About the role:
- Teaching a KS1 class
- Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
- Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in KS1 settings is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
- Must be available at least 5 days per week from January 2026
Pay:
£120 - £170 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
