Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply | Long-Term Opportunities Available
Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary and secondary schools across Wilmslow and Macclesfield who are seeking Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking for flexible work, whether that's a few days a week or more consistent placements. You will gain experience across a variety of school settings, supporting pupils of different ages and abilities.
Roles may include general classroom support, small group work, or 1:1 support, including working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Work with small groups or individual pupils
- Assist with interventions and targeted support
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£88.92 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
