Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Mornings Only

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Macclesfield area who are looking for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team from next week. The role will begin at 7:45am supporting the school's breakfast club, before moving into the Early Years setting for the remainder of the morning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner who is looking for morning-only work within a supportive primary school environment.
The successful candidate will need to be confident working with young children, have a good understanding of the EYFS framework and be able to provide a caring, nurturing and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the breakfast club from 7:45am
- Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Work alongside the class teacher to support children's learning and development
- Assist with engaging, play-based activities
- Support children's communication, personal, social and emotional development
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Support children's individual needs and development
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
- Paediatric First Aid (PFA) qualification - essential
- Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to morning-only hours
- Two references covering the last two years
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
Pay
£92 - £105 per full day Dependent on experience and qualifications.
