Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools in Knutsford and surrounding areas who are seeking Teaching Assistants for both immediate supply cover and September 2026 starts. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within schools, whether that's a few days a week, regular supply work, or a longer-term position from September.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of school settings, supporting pupils of different ages and abilities. Roles may include general classroom support, interventions, and 1:1 support, including working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Work with small groups or individual pupils
- Assist with interventions and targeted learning support
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay
£92 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
