Secondary PE Teacher needed! Location: Macclesfield

Contract: Full Time | Temporary (ASAP - End of Summer Term)

Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Macclesfield who are seeking a PE Teacher to join their team as soon as possible until the end of the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join a supportive department and make an immediate impact.

The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical education. The successful candidate will be confident teaching a range of sports and activities, and able to quickly build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive practical and theory sessions
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and participation
  • Manage classroom and behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress where required
  • Contribute positively to the wider school environment and department
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of the summer term
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

Pay £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
