Premier Education is recruiting caring and reliable Early Years Practitioners for casual supply cover in nurseries and Early Years settings across Tameside. Opportunities may be available in Ashton-under-Lyne, Hyde, Stalybridge, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield and the surrounding areas. Tell us when and where you want to work, and choose the suitable shifts that fit your schedule. Supply work is offered according to nursery requirements and your availability, so hours are not guaranteed.
Early Years Practitioner - the role
- Supporting children aged 0 - 5 in a safe and nurturing environment
- Encouraging learning and development through play
- Leading creative and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting meals, sleep and personal care routines
- Building positive relationships with children and nursery staff
- Following safeguarding and nursery procedures
Early Years Practitioner - requirements
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- Recent experience working with children aged 0-5
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- A warm, patient and adaptable approach
- Reliability and strong communication skills
- The legal right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one
