Manor Park First School, Mellstock Avenue, Dorchester, DT1 2BH

Hours: 16 - 19 per week

We are looking for a caring, organised and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Site Lead to oversee our before and after school provision at Manor Park First School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with childcare, education or wraparound care experience who enjoys creating a safe, engaging and positive environment for children.

Hours:

  • After School Club: Monday to Friday, 2:50pm – 5:30pm
  • Breakfast Club: 3 mornings per week, 7:35am – 8:45am
  • Additional breakfast club hours may be available for the right candidate
  • Term time only

Responsibilities:

  • Leading day-to-day wraparound care provision
  • Planning and supervising engaging activities
  • Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children
  • Supporting snack preparation and basic food hygiene routines
  • Managing registers and daily communication with parents/carers
  • Working closely with school staff and the wider operations team

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children in a school, childcare or activity setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and reliable approach
  • Ability to lead a small team and manage sessions independently
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
