Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of primary schools across the Congleton area who are looking for qualified teachers to support from September 2026 on both a supply and long-term basis. We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils' progress across the primary age range. Supply teaching is a great opportunity for teachers looking for flexibility, variety, or a pathway into longer-term roles, while still gaining experience across a range of local schools. Roles are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
- Mark and assess work where required
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools (ECTs welcome)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Pay: £120 - £170 per day (dependent on experience, scale, and responsibilities)
