As a Sports Coach Activity Professional, you will deliver a variety of extracurricular activities and holiday courses that engage and inspire children aged 4-11. Whether running a weekly football club or working with the same group over time to build their confidence, this role provides the opportunity to create meaningful and rewarding experiences.
Essential Requirements- A minimum of one Level 2 NGB sports qualification and/or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Full driving license and access to a car as you will work at multiple schools in the Chelmsford area.
- Proven experience in delivering sports or activity sessions or teaching groups of children aged 4-11 (ideally in a school setting).
- Confident and strong personality with a passion for making a positive impact.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection certificates or willingness to obtain them.
- IT skills for play and club administration.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and Health and Safety within a school setting.
- Plan and deliver fun, progressive activities for children aged 4-11, focusing on participation development, and enjoyment.
- Track and adapt sessions based on pupil development.
- Provide additional help to children needing extra support.
- Take full responsibility for the safety and engagement of all children in your care, keeping them focused and on task throughout sessions.
- Follow all company policies, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
