A Bolton based primary school is seeking a dedicated SENDCo to cover a long-term absence, with the possibility of extension.

About the role:

  • Overseeing and coordinating provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Supporting teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching
  • Leading and contributing to EHCP processes and liaising with external agencies
  • Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate SEND records
  • Working closely with SLT and class teachers to ensure all learners thrive

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified SENDCo (or working towards it) or experience in a SENDCo role
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Previous experience as a SENDCo or Inclusion Lead within a primary school
