Are you a resilient and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are working with a fantastic primary school in Bolton with a truly supportive and welcoming staff team, who are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join them after half term (from 1st June or sooner if available). This is a full-time, long-term opportunity where you can make a real difference every single day.
The Role
- Morning: Providing 1:1 support for a pupil in Lower KS2
- Afternoon: Supporting a small group of pupils with SEND in KS1
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
This role would suit someone who is calm, patient, and confident in supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly those who may need help with behaviour and emotional regulation.
