The day-to-day role of a community carer has many misconceptions, and many new to care never look back once they start on this career path. When you have a positive impact on an individual and their relatives’ lives for a living, you can imagine how rewarding that is. Here are the standard duties our carers are involved in daily:

  • Make visits to clients in their own homes using your own vehicle
  • Help Premier’s clients meet their desired outcomes from our services
  • Assist with personal care such as washing and showering
  • Cook and serve meals and drinks
  • Help with medications
  • Support with day-to-day living
  • Record visits live with our digital care planning system

Requirements

  • Full UK Driver’s License

  • A professional approach to complete our training and ongoing development
