Role Overview

Our 2026 range is already pushing the boundaries of "Easy Care" fabrics and architectural cuts. We are looking for a meticulous and creative Product Development Assistant to help us engineer the next generation of professional apparel. This role requires working directly alongside our experienced Product Developer; it is not a remote position, so the successful candidate must live within a daily commutable distance to Deeside CH5 2UA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the end‑to‑end development of new styles, ensuring every piece meets strict durability, modernity, and "Easy Care" performance standards.
  • Act as a key point of contact for Far East manufacturing partners, managing the flow of technical specifications, samples, and feedback.
  • Review and analyze fit samples, fabric strike‑offs, and colour lab dips to maintain our reputation as the industry’s "Colour Authority".
  • Stay ahead of sector‑specific needs, ensuring fabrics meet functional requirements such as four‑way stretch for spa industry or heat‑management for kitchens.
  • Maintain garment tech‑packs and coordinate with design and development teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, navigate time zones, and communicate professional requirements.
  • Ensure a customer‑first mindset, understanding that a uniform is a tool that boosts staff confidence and customer trust.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Fashion/Textile Technology or equivalent industry experience (graduate considered).
